Safeguarding Children and Young People

 

The CSB Board has endorsed Australian Cricket's policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People.

The CSB Board unanimously carried the following motion: That Cricket Southern Bayside endorse and adopt: Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People, Australian Cricket’s 'Looking After Our Kids’ Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs, and Australia Cricket’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People, effective as at 17th October, 2018.

Further to this a second motion was raised mandating CSB clubs adopt the policy.

The CSB Board unanimously carried the following motion: That any club wishing to participate in any CSB competition from October 1 2019, must have adopted the Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People, Australian Cricket’s “Looking After Our Kids’ Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs, and Australia Cricket’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People. Any club that cannot provide documentation to prove adoption of the policy will be suspended until such time that evidence is provided to the Cricket Southern Bayside Management Team.
